Come

The retreat is located on an expansive
white sandy beach, on an emerald
green bay surrounded by lush forest and breath-taking scenery. Enjoy
a morning driving through local villages viewing traditional mat weaving
and local dancing, then cool off with a swim and snorkel on a nearby white
sand beach.
After lunch we continue to a nearby waterfall for another
dip before making our way along a jungle track passing monkeys and various
species of birds, finally reaching another secluded cove for a swim in
the rock pools or snorkel on the offshore reef before making the trip
back home.
BIRD WATCHING
With
over 200 species of birds, Simeulue
is a bird watcher's paradise. Try and see if you can get a sighting of the Simeulue Scops Owl, indigenous to
this island. Other species include the White-bellied Woodpecker, various
Kingfishers, Cuckoos, Parrots, Swiftlets, Eagles, Swallows, Flower
peckers, Sun birds and Wagtails.

Explore
our large limestone caves with swallows nesting inside then take a trip
up the river to view a fresh water inland lake viewing exotic birds and monkeys
on the way upstream, you may even spot a fresh water crocodile on the
lake. This is a great day trip.
